Sometimes Photographer always Chief Projectionist 📽🎞️
Documenting my adventures through photo and video.
My journey began 24 years ago in the projection booth, threading 35mm film and learning the craft during the final decades of celluloid cinema. Since then, I’ve worked across every major format—from 8mm to 70mm—and witnessed the industry’s shift into the digital age, all while continuing to run film whenever possible.
I’ve been a lifelong cinema enthusiast, with a deep appreciation not just for the films themselves, but for the technical side of how they’re presented. From projection formats to sound and presentation, I’ve always been interested both in the mechanics behind the experience as well the stories shown on the big screen.
Beyond projection, I’ve always been passionate about film as a medium—building a personal movie collection and reviewing physical releases. More recently, that passion has expanded into photography, particularly shooting on film, where I enjoy working with panoramic cameras and medium format stock. I recently added the legendary Widelux panoramic camera to my collection, further deepening my interest in capturing images in unique and immersive formats.
Hope to see you at the movies!
